About M. Romano

Michela Romano is a Postgraduate student in Modern, Post-colonial and Comparative Literatures at the University of Bologna and a language teacher. Born in Parma (Italy), she attended her Bachelor studies in Foreign Languages and Literatures (English and Russian) at the University of Bologna, graduating in 2019 in Interdisciplinary Research and Studies on Eastern Europe (MIREES, University of Bologna). She collected academic experiences such as conferences, Erasmus and research periods in Edinburgh, Kaunas (Lithuania), Riga (Latvia), Estonia (Tartu and Narva) and Russia (St. Petersburg). Her research interests focus on Russophone identities and cultures, Baltic studies, Postcolonial and post-Soviet studies and cultures.
